We specialize in advising on life insurance from a fiduciary and trustee-aligned perspective—where independence is essential and objectivity is non-negotiable. By removing the influence of commissions and product bias, we provide disciplined oversight that helps trustees and UHNW families manage complex policies with confidence, clarity, and a focus on long-term performance.
Effective life insurance planning requires more than expertise; it demands full access to the breadth of the marketplace to ensure the best possible solution for each client. FIA provides comprehensive access to both traditional and alternative life insurance products across the entire market, including exclusive M-Group offerings, enabling truly objective, client-focused recommendations.
As President of Fiduciary Insurance Advisors (FIA), Randy leads a firm dedicated to the independent, fiduciary oversight of complex life insurance portfolios. His work is grounded in a single principle: providing objective guidance free from the influence of product sales or commissions.
With more than 25 years of experience exclusively on the fiduciary side of the industry, Randy advises Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) families, trustees, and their advisors on navigating the complexities of life insurance with rigor, transparency, and precision. His approach ensures that each policy is aligned with the broader financial and estate planning objectives of the client.
Prior to leading FIA for the past decade, Randy spent 15 years as National Insurance Trust Manager for U.S. Bank’s Wealth Management Group. There, he developed a disciplined, risk-focused framework for evaluating trust-owned life insurance (TOLI) portfolios. Over the course of his career, he has reviewed more than $20 billion in TOLI assets—experience that provides a level of perspective and insight rarely found in the private advisory space.
Today, Randy applies this institutional expertise to help clients protect, optimize, and make informed decisions about some of the most complex assets within their portfolios.
